About me

Born and raised in a country where the English language serves as a bridge to the world, I have been fascinated by its power and versatility from a young age. To me, English is more than just words; it is a window into cultures, stories, and connections.

Early on, I felt drawn to the beauty of literature and the nuances of English grammar. In high school, I immersed myself in Shakespearean dramas and Romantic poetry. Those lessons left a lasting impression and truly ignited my passion for the language.

In 1992, I discovered the root of my love for English: it turned out one of my ancestors was a well-known translator of English literature.

In hindsight, my own affinity for language was no surprise; reading, writing, translating, poetry, debating, and public speaking have always been part of my life.

My interest in the origins of the English language led me to ancient manuscripts, etymological studies, and linguistic conferences. The evolution of English, from Old English to the modern global language it is today, continues to fascinate me. It is remarkable how words and expressions can take on new meanings over time.

The lives of linguists and writers have inspired me and form the foundation of my stories. I strive to give the richness of English a voice once more, so that it remains more than just a tool for communication, but is seen again as something living and breathing.
